Welcome to my blog, RungMe! This is Rich, the blogger for this site. I’m currently a business analyst aiming to become one of the best at “connecting data together”.
I graduated from UCLA in 2013 with a major in Mathematics/Economics, a minor in Statistics, and a specialization in computing (it looks long on my diploma too, but mathematics, economics, statistics, and programming are all fields that I enjoy). My interest in working with data started in college. With my major and excel background, people tend to give me excel sheets and csv files to play around with and find interesting observations. Whether it was finding outliers within members or doing regression analysis for my statistics classes, I love how data helps start insightful conversations and makes a difference in making more reasonable decisions and actions.
